Subject: A 285 tire fits??? IP: Logged
Message: Does a 275 60 15 fit the stock rims without rubbing? Would a 285
be too wide. It's only 27" high, but will it rub the frame?

You do know you will probably kill you mileage and performance depending on your engine/trans/ gear ratio combo?

Message: 99' 4x2. I got the stock 255/65/16 on there now. I want to go to a
275/60. Will it rub the frame? Is it better to use 15 or 16 inch
wheels with a 275 tire?

Message: All I can te4ll you is use the website I posted, compare the difference in sizes and measure the clearance you have with the current tires. that should tell you if they'll rub or not.
