 Subject: fuel guage

i have a 1994 dodge dakota V8 5.2L. my problems started when the brake lines rusted out and replaced them. no problem there. but then we noticed the fuel lines were leaking replaced them and the fuel pump as it probally needed a new one because it has a 133k or so on it. and my fuel guage didnt work put the new one on and the dang thing still dont work. any ideas or comments please.

Check the wiring to the fuel pump assembly carefully , how is the connector ?
