Quick question for the people in the know ;0)
I used to have an '03 dak crew cab 4x4 with 4.7 and auto - traded it for a jeep rubicon as I'm a bit of a jeepoholic, and I'd read toooo many articles on problems with the auto trans, and I really didn't need a truck at the time and I found the length of it to be a pita.
So times have changed and while I still don't "need" a "truck" I am doing a lot more highway driving for a commute and would like to get back into a dakota - I really did like it.
Perfect rig would be an extended cab, 4.7, nv3500 5 spd, 4x4 - short box to keep the length down a bit.
Were they even offered in that config with a short box?
And would it haul a small car hauler with a built jeep aboard??
