 Subject: 2wd not working

now i know this is for dakotas , but ihave a question about my 1995 dodge ram 4x4, maybe someone can help,, so my truck goes into 4wd hi and low and moves all the tires, front spin and back, but when i go to 2wd notta thing, happens, what can cause this, my 2wd not working, oh my tranny is fine, i thin its my transfer case :(

It sounds to me like something is out of ajustment, does it have a shift lever? or is it an electric switch? If its the electric kind, it could have a few problems, but I don't know where to start with that. If its the shifter, you may need to see if the linkage is bent, or broken, or just loose. I think since you can go into 4wheel drive low and high, then something is stopping the linkage from going into 2 wheel drive. Maybe someting is blocking the shifter, in the cab.
Just a guess.

Check linkage if not linkage go to the junkyard pull out a transfer case and swap it in. Make sure you get the right transfercase to
