Message: You are going to burn your posi unit up in a hurry doing one wheel burn outs. I hope that you are made out of money!!!! Your brakes are not biased or clamping evenly and they are simulateing the truck going around a curve. This tells the LSD to unlock to allow differiental tire speed. The only time a LSD is unlocked is when takeing a curve or power brakeing. The only time a LSD is wearing out is when it unlocks partialy to allow differential wheel speed.

Message: actually posi and limited slip are the same thing...which i just read about. If you want a better understanding i would suggest you go to www.howstuffworks.com. and look up limited slip differentials, it has a good way of explaining the whole concept. I believe that sandman is right. The sensors is what is not allowing itself to "grab" posi, if you will. Thats one downfall to electronics if thats how you want to look at.

Message: There are no electronics connected to the clutches in the limited slip rear end. If you do have a posi or limited slip rear end and only one wheel is spinning then you have a brake problem or your clutches are shot in your rear end. Brake problems that serious would be evident. Process of elimination says that clutches are gone or you do not have a limited slip rear end.
