I have an 1987 Dakota 4*4 and its a five speed. It doesn't have a tach though. I was just wondering if there was a guage set up for an 87' that has the tach in it. I know that a some newer models (early 90's) have a set up with the tach and was just wondering if they would work. So if anybody has any information for me, or if there is a place I could order it on the internet, or if anybody has one they would be willing to part with let me know. Thanks.

Why not just put a SunPro tach on it, easy to do?

you should be able to find a cluster for your truck. the 87-90 at least should be the same, and i have seen one that has a 115mph speedo and i beleive it also has a tach that goes to 6 or 6500 rpm. (not for sure) Where are you located at? I can try to look and see if we still have that cluster, if you want it?

My '89 has a stock tach and a 115 mph speedometer. I have seen a lot of them in wrecking yards around where I live. Shouldn't be that hard to find one. I think wldtm is right, 87-90 should be the same.
