 Subject: A/C and heater being wierd

the A/C when it is on will all of a sudden blow out the defrost insted of the vents and the heater only blows out the defrost can someone give me any ideas on why this my be happening

Check for vacuum leak in vent damper control system.
No vacuum defaults to defrost vents.
