Blkfly you got a sweet lookin rig, but you havent been posting lately what you been up to? And your right there's alot of stale posts out there...but how many times can you reply to the age old question of...."what size tires can i fit without rubbing?" That kinda drove me into the off topic board for entertainment, this place needs to be freshened up...thanks for the help!!!and i agree totally, cheap hp=bottle. Kinda pissed i didnt think of that.

Thanks Bucket. I agree, the same questions definitely get old. People are lazy and just ask the same questions rather than try to find the answers that already exist.
I used to have a job where I was never around a computer, so i never had the opportunity to post. When i was around a computer i was usually doing something productive so didn't post then either. Well now I'm back at a desk so i have plenty of opportunities to waste a lot of time. . .lol.
I just joined dakota-durango.com, that site seems real fresh, and actually has real enthusiast rather than just people trying to find quick answer's to their stupid problems. I'm still going to keep an eye on this site but may put more effort in the other.
I'm going to be doing a full engine rebuild and plan to post the progress. I will be building up a 4.7 to handle 10#'s boost from a Kenne Bell.

Yeah i'm in that site too, but it was a little too involved for me right now, im kinda opposite of your situation in that i used to have all day to play around in here while sitting at my desk, but things are starting to get busy so i've got alot less time to be on here now but i still pop in both sites fairly often but i'll keep an eye peeled for your progress on the engine build on both sites. I don't think he was running anything if you watch the YouTube video. It looked stock to me (0-60 in 7.90 sec).

I'd be interested in hearing a follow up as to what you end up doing to achieve your ambitious increase in power without spending any money. I think he's looking for more perfomance while on a budget there fly59 (Never said that it would be for free...unless you can pulls some mods off a 4.7 out in the junkyard).
I don't think pulling 290 HP and 345 ftlbs TQ should be that hard to find at all with a engine such as that.
