Subject: Coolant Leak! IP: Logged
Message: Okay, so I've developed a coolant leak on my truck. The leak is
coming from somewhere on the back of the block, and
collecting on the bell-housing of the transmission. I used UV
dye and looked around the entire block on the top and bottom
and nothing except when I look at the dust cover on the bell-
housing. It is on the outside of the dust cover, travels up and
then I can't see anything past the last oil pan bolt on the drivers
side. Could it be the freeze plugs on the rear of the block inside
the bell-housing?
Thanks

Message: Ouch Freeze Plugs... Have you tested your coolant for the proper mix?
