Message: Does anyone know where I may be able t locate a six-pack of fuel injectors for a '93 3.9? I really only need one, but a whole set would be okay too. Thanks for any replies. Please email... jfeeley@kiva.net

Message: If I were you, I would replace all the injectors at once, if they are anything like diesel injectors, you can not replace just one and have the same preformance from them. They need to be matched so they meter the same amount of fuel. It's been 6 or 7 years since I worked on injectors but I seem to remember this. Good luck!

Message: If your '93 takes the same injectors as '97+, consider replacing them with Ford Motorsports injectors. I know that the FMS injectors are direct replacements on '97 and later v6's and v8's. The advantage of the FMS injectors are that they have 4 holes compared to Dodge's one hole, thereby creating a better spray of fuel. I believe the part number for the FMS 19 lb. injectors found at Summit Racing are M-9593-C302

I totally agree with Chuck on the FMS 19# injectors for the V6's. They bolt right in and are a matched set. Ok...so they come in a set of 8 only...no biggie, you've now got two spares...just in case.
The FMS 19# are still a pintle valve (Needle and Seat) just like the factory ones...the 24# use the disc (4-hole).

Message: Hey Bernd,
I get what sounds like a second fan revving high on startup, very intermittent, then again on accel from stop to shifting to 2nd. It also shifts from 1-2 about 300 rpm higher. At the same time, in accel from stop, engine revs high and I have 1/4-1/2 power until it shifts to second, then all is fine.
Would the FMS injectors fix this? I've used DuraLube to clean it out, but the problem returns after a week or two. Dealer has NEVER found the source or anything else to attribute this to.

Message: Just wondering if fuel injectors from a 97 5.2L will work in my
97 3.9L. As far as I know they are both 19 pound single hole
injectors. Need to know asap. Thanks.
