Fiat wanted Jeep to put a line of diesel wranglers and patriots. seems to me they have made reasonable suggestions. dodge said they deffinatly wouldn't be putting any diesels in seems like their bing hard headed and stupid. as long as they stick to what they know and keep their noses out of the trucks and muscle cars i am happy.

Well I'm not. As a matter of fact there is no more Chrysler as we know it, but just another sales brand division as we know it; and owned by another foreign car maker.
The liberty had a diesel but they dropped it for obvious reasons. I was told they sold them above market price.
But there is the Grand Cherokee which still has a Benz diesel as an option.

Chrysler is controlled, but not majority owned, by Fiat. Let's get it right. Fiat has 20% ownership, with a possibility of as much as 35% if they perform. The UAW's health care fund owns 55%. You don't have to like it, but please tell the truth.

I have never owned any Chrysler stock. But watch for a future issuance of GM stock. And Ford has gone up nearly tenfold in a year.

Thats STS point, there is no more Chrysler stock to be bought, that ended when the merger between Daimler and Chrysler split up.
The truth is "Chrysler is controlled" as you just said. So in retropect they are pretty much owned by Fiat even if they have only a 20 percent stake in Chrysler. Again there's no more Chrysler corp, just a shell of what it once was.
