Message: I looked for an ODB I scanner that showed fuel
sync a couple years ago when I had my 92 Dakota.
I didn't find it in anything I looked at. I know the function is in the DRBII/III tool but those are expensive. I didn't find it on the snap-on 2500 but others say the snap-on has it.

Message: Your best bet will be to use a laptop w/ software and cables. I have seen software for both OBD & OBDII w/ cables from $80.00 to $250.00. Just gotta search the webz.

Message: To test obd1 you dont need a scanner. You just turn the key to accessories on then off then on then off then on... after that the check engine light will flash giving you the codes in the computer. If it flashes a 55 that means end of codes. If you get a 12, dont panic... it just means your batter was disconnected recently.
