Message: I've been aiming to try out the 07 and up Dakota with a 287 cid V8 and possibly a 4x4. I wonder how the 310 HP version of that engine compares with the last(250HP)in fuel economy.

Message: If your looking for a 4.7 stay under the year 2008...for maintenance your looking at 16 spark plugs to be replaced every 30,000 miles. I always opt for the 4.7...have an 06 with 45,000...good so far. Hauled two 55 gallon drums of chainsaw oil in the bed with ease.

Message: The Dude just made a recomendation moron with no name!
If you would like, get a Magnum (there all pre-owned) and then you'll have just enough room for that cord of wood.
