Message: Dunno, but I've got an X-Sport, don't remember who makes it. Two bars that go across the bed so you still have room under the bike. I normally just use the front, and my Cannondale fits in the bed with the tailgate closed, even with my crossbed toolbox. I've got a club cab. It's the way to go if you have a lifted 4x4 like mine. I think I paid $150 or so for it. I don't remember if I got it from Nashbar or Performance Bicycle. HIH.

Message: Check out Ayrow's site. He just posted as a new member, and he's got pics of a modified Thule rack on top of a Quad Cab.

As for Yakima, the "Q-Tower" system is your starting point. It is a generic bracket that links your cross bars to the roof. What will be unique to the Dakota is the "Q-Clip" that adapts the tower to your specific roof design. I don't think Yakima's site shows all the Q-Clip applications, but if you check with a sporting goods store or bike shop, they will be able to find the right "Q-clip" bracket for a Dakota (if they exist)
Dave_K had links to the Yakima site.
