Need that rebuild kit for my 95' Dakota 4x4 V8 NP 231D transfer case.Now I'm told there are two diffrent "input shaft" sizes for the bearings,one is .75 other is 1.5,what the heck does this mean??Please does anyone know?

Likely, the difference between an A500 (42RE/H)and A518 (46RE/H). The latter being HD (heavy duty). You won't know until you crawl underneath and look for an ID plate.

Sorry if I made things confusing. I didn't specify that I was referring to the transmission (A500 & A518). that difference may determine a difference in the transfer case. Hope this helps.
