Subject: 2003 Transmission Line Routing IP: Logged
Message: The lower line fitting on my 03 dakota 4.7 5spd auto has a pin hole rot in it where it goes into the radiator. I was wondering is this the return or inflow side ? Im hoping its the return so i can just cut it off an put in a after marker second cooler ...thks

Message: There should be two, one going in rad, one coming out. Usually, I think, the one on the right side of the engine (looking forward, not at engine) is usually the intake. But only way to be sure is to get under the truck and trace it.
And like Forseti said, you can put a cooler on either hose.
