I have an 88 dakota.Im gettin ready to do a SAS swap and want to beef up the tranny area also.Since a 3.9 is basically a 318 with the two front cylinders cut off and a 318 will bolt up to the 904 auto in my truck,(this may be a stupid question)but would I be able to get a manual transmission,transfer case and drive shafts out of a early 80s to 90s Ram and bolt it to my 3.9.Of course i know there will be some cuttin and all.Also which clutch or flywheel will I have to use.Any info will be gold for this project.

I have a 93 3.9 4X4 that needs a new transmission bc the old
one is completely shot. My question is what transmission
should I put in? Cheap and good if possible.
Also what is the transmission in it stock does anybody know?
