Subject: Dakota heater problems IP: Logged
Message: I have a 1996 Dodge Dakota that is having trouble blowing the hot air through the vents. The heater core, blower motor, and thermostat have been replaced. The fuses are good as well. Not sure what the problem is because I have hot air and the switch is on high and there is very little air coming through the vents.

Message: Check to see if the blower motor is spinning in the correct direction. Some aftermarket blower motors may have the leads reversed. Also check to see if the A/C evaporator core is plugged up, that will prevent airflow as well
