Message: hey all,
Part of my plans for my DAK is an airbrushed picture on the hood and the side. Now my question is how well do you all think it would hold up? The truck will be used for light off-roading the occasional tow/cago hauler. I have called a few places neer me but theyhave said they hav never done something like this (they have done multiple colors, layered colors, flames and "paint" splashes). Also if anyone has done anything like this and/or if anyone has a pic or a link to a graphite colored dak can you send it to me. Thanks i advance

Message: Thanks for the compliment, Mikel!
I've had airbrushing on my last two trucks. The Dakota is at the site Mikel listed. Pics of my F150 with airbrushed ram air hood is at the Past Rides section of the site --

As far as the airbrushing holding up offroad ... the F150 was in the woods many times for deer hunting and never showed any ill effects. As long as the painter puts a good hard clear coat over his artwork you'll be alright!
