what is the correct operating engine temp for a 1998 dakota mines seems to stay at around 170 180. my heat doesnt seem to blow cold and im scared to backflush the core cause im afraid it will start to leak after

What temp T-stat do you have in there?
Mine runs at around 185 with a 192.
