 Subject: 16" wheels on 2000 4x4

I want to replace my currect 15x8s with a set of BLACK 16x8s. I like the look of the black wheels and the 16 should give me the ability to put a little bigger tire (265/75) on without modifications, other than a torsion lift and speedo adjustment.
Does anyone know where I can get an inexspensive set of wheels?
Is there anything else I should take into consideration?

You are a bit vage but why not try factory 16" alloys. Plenty of them on the sports in the salvage yards. A quick shot with the paint gun, clean the polished lib, you are there. The motorsport models came with black rims, but they are hard to find.

I did check ebay for the 16's and they are not inexpensive, about $100 wheel/used. called my local salvage yard and they said they only had 16x7's about $80 each. So I did a quick search on the internet for some black 16x8s but didnt have much luck.

I don't think you'll find much cheaper than that. You could always have the rims you already have powder coated or painted black for the look you want.

$400 including shipping. Look like their in good shape.
Thought about a diy job, I'll wait a while and see what turns up.

I have the same truck and want to do the same thing. I stopped in a wrecking yard they told me that the wheels were different on years 2000 than 2001-2002 and different again 2003-2004.they said 2000 you can only get 15" and 17"(from the factory)in 2000.Will these 2002 or 2004 fit my 2000?
