Message: Hey Guys,
2001 Dakota Club Cab
Part from 2002 Dakota Crew Cab
I have a little problem, hopefully one of you guys can help me with.
I recently changed my CTM due to some electrical problems I was having... and it looks like it fixed the problems.
Well, I got the part at a junkyard for $20 bucks and the model I pulled it off of had the "security" option I believe.
It seems that when i open the doors the headlights flash, and the security light on the console flashes. Is there any way to disable this feature? Also the keyless entry fob's dont work. I tried to reprogram them with the method shown on this site, but didn't work... Is there anyway to fix this without trying to find another CTM or taking it to the dealer?
Any help would be great!
Thanks in Advance,
Tom
