There are 2 ways:
1) Turn the key on/off/on/off/on(ON not START)
If you have a digital odometer the codes will display in the odometer as PXXXX and when it's finished it will display Pdone. If it's not a digital odometer the check engine light will flash.
2) Either purchase a code reader or go to your local parts house most of which will read codes for free.
