Subject: turn signal 2005 won't work but bulb is IP: Logged
Message: my right rear turn signal on my 2005 Dodge Dakota does not work but the bulb is lit when i have the running lights on. also the speed of the audible indicator ( only when i turn it on the right side) is about double normal speed .. also the brake light wont glow brighter on the right side ( same bulb).
I replaced the bulb just to see if it helped and it did not.
Any clue?

Message: I just had this problem. It's a loose contact in the bulb socket. Get a new socket and it will be fine.

Message: 2 things to check or try replacing.....the switch at the brake pedal and the turn signal switch on the column...... since it is on the same circuit the brakes also run through this switch....trust me it sounds funny but it does.
