Message: it is like it is in neutral all the time but it will shift into gears but not mdo anytrhing is this my clutch or tranny and should i buy the kit or just the flywheel can i buy used or new thank you

You'll need to remove the trans
checking clutch
and turn pilot shaft, watch yolk
(or vice-versa)

Message: Could be the slave cylinder is stuck out which would disengage the clutch. Your best bet is to get under the truck, with it NOT started and have someone press the clutch pedal and make sure the clutch fork moves like it should.
If it is the clutch you do NOT want to purchase used. Get a clutch kit which should include the Clutch disc, pressure plate and pilot tool. Also get a new throwout bearing and have the flywheel resurfaced. After that it should be like new.
