i'm looking at a 04 sxt quad cab with 65k, 4x4 3.7 auto, anything i should be looking for? my big concern is the trans just because i have no service history on it. also it does'nt have power window or locks, if i got door panels, regulators, switchs how hard would it be to convert? my previous experiance with chysler stuff has been that the wiring is usually there so if you get the hard parts it should be plug and play.

Look for a V8. A QC 4x4 is a HEAVY truck. That 3.7 will have a hard time just moving the truck and if you plan to tow, you'll be very disappointed.

I have an '00 QC Sport, 3.9V6, 5spd, 4x2 and it works great for me. I don't tow but do load the bed on occasion and with the 5spd it does well.
I too do not have any power accessories except for cruise control.

It's a great truck, it's just that the V6 will probably leave you wanting more. Especially with the 4x4/auto. The V8 (4.7) will get near the same mileage as a V6 when kept in proper tune.

The 04 V8 gets better mileage than the V6. I have a 04 V8, the mileage was 1 mpg better when I was shopping for them. Might depend on the gear ratio.

I agree, find a V8 with a good gear ratio. My 3.55 sucks. I love the truck though.
