 Subject: No Optional Payload on SLT Plus!!

I went to order the truck and the option for the 1900lb payload was not available on the list. Its an SLT Plus CC 4x2 with 4.7 and 5 speed. You can only get it if you do the G package and then you cannot get other items like Power overhead and tire and handling. Does anybody have the truck that I want so that I can see what the deal is? I only want it for the bigger rear brakes. Can these be fitted on if you get the right parts, I am sure they will. Please email me if you have some info on this. Argh, THanks.

You do need the G code options package which you can only get with auto tranny.
I went to www.4adodge.com and did a 2002 CC 4x4 SLT Plus package and got the 5900 GVW rating with the Tire/Handling and the complete POC Group.
Where the F***K are you getting your information from? If it's a Dodge dealer, find another dealer immediately.

The SLT Plus includes the Tire and Handling Group. You cannot (on a 2 wheel drive) get the 2000 lb payload with the tire group because they are not XL rated tires.
In order to get everything order them separate and don't even think about the tire package. That is what I did for my 01.
The 4X4 is a different story alltogether. The original poster specified 4X2.
