Yep! 268,000 miles and it's time to retire
Its been over 5 years since I got it from a GM dealer ship.
Ever since then I spent loads of money on parts and labor.
Now the last time when it broke down on the road!! I had it towed to the shop and after doing the diagnosis it needs a ECM, shaft sensor, and a transmission rebuild.
So I decided to sell it.
Price tag will be close to 1,000 bucks.
94' dakota
4x4
318 engine (still a good motor)
Transmission bad
transfercase good
truck needs to take a trip to the body shop for dents and a pant job.
also it needs a new door.
But anyway it can be fixed;but will coast some money.
I'm saving my money for either another Dakota or a GMC Envoy. The dakota I'm looking at is 2K modle with a 287 magnum,4x4 and it might have a towing package.
