Message: Yes, my '00 QC turned 100k about a month ago. Still runs like a champ. I've had it for 6yrs this past January. I have no intentions of getting rid of it either.
Other than normal maintenance, the only things I've changed is an inner tie-rod and front shocks. That was not from normal wear either. My tire had a little run-in with a Rustang and it jammed the tie-rod. It took all of about 30 minutes to change. One front shock was toast @ 20k.
I've owned 2 other trucks before, '83 GMC S-15 and a '96 GMC Ext. Cab. can't say much for the '96. Traded it @ 35k because of too many warranty trips for stupid crap. The '83 was a great little truck.
Bring on the next 100k!

who cares? 100k is a milestone only for american vehicles, because just 10 years ago american vehicles barely made it past 100k. any japanese vehicle can go 300k and still run like new. buy a tundra next time.

Message: Well Daddio i think you should easily hit another 100K, between my work trucks and my personal trucks i got 5 Dakotas and all of them had over 100K when i bought em and they are all still on the road.As for tt....the average toyota lover never has anything in the bed of their truck that weighs more than a mountain bike so i would expect them to last but the next time you go down a road with construction going on, take a look at the trucks parked along the road you wont see many Toyotas. HMMMMM

Message: The '93 Toyota truck I had was very problematic. I had it back at the dealer many, many times for various problems from the time it was new until I finally gave up on it at 4 years / 60k miles.
My 2000 Dodge has been the best of the three trucks I have owned ('93 Toyota, '97 Ford, '00 Dodge). I am close to the 100k mile mark on mine, and plan to keep the old girl running as long as possible. There simply isn't anything else out there now that I would want!
