Hey group....just bought a 97 Dakota and already looks like I am gonna need you guys...
97 5.2 Auto. Runs like a dream for a couple of days and then just stalls without warning. Done this several times.Usually starts right back up but today did not and had to tow. Starts after getting it home. Runs like a dream again.
One thing I'll add just in case it might indicate soemthing to you big strong pros. One time a week ago the key would not shut the engine off. It just went smoothly back and forth in the ignition. Has not done that since though.
HELP!!

Well i would start with getting the ignition thing fixed, and see if that solves all of your problems......well maybe not all your problems you probably still owe the IRS that 40K and your husband is still pissed over turning the garage into a sewing room, not to mention that little incident in Vegas......I'M KIDDING !!! but start with the ignition switch....(my two cents)
