I have a '00 Dakota Quad Cab with the 5.9 and auto tranny. When it shifts from 3rd to overdrive, it feels as if it's going into neutral for a second between gears. I can see, and hear the RPM's jump. It doesn't have a problem shifting down from overdrive into 3rd, only shifting up. All other gear shifts are fine as well. The fluid looks good, and is at the correct level. I'm hoping this is just a sensor of some kind. Can anyone help?
