Paid for seven years ago and probably went through a thousand or so dollars repairing it since. $1000/7= far less than payments on anything else.

Message: hey kowalski. i couldnt help but notice you have a blade on the front of your dakota. if you dont mind me asking what brand is it? where did you get it? and how much was it including brakets? i live in the chicago area and a plow like that would be great for driveways.

Message: That's a Fisher 7 1/2' regular duty. If you plan to carry it over the road much, you might consider the lighter duty. Got it from a plow dealer, a long ways from Chi-town - but I'm sure you have plow dealers local. Fisher's website has a handy ematch that will spec out what will work for your aplication. Then for price, check with a plow dealer. Feel free to ask if you have other questions. What I paid 9 years ago probably won't help much...

Message: They were made by Serro Scotty for a few years. Google search Serro Scotty Pioneer and you'll find photos. And yes, the rear axle is a tag.
Serro Scotty also built a few larger models on Ram 3500 Cab and Chassis. I've been looking for a 31' model with 4x4 and a Cummins but haven't found one in decent shape. Since they stopped building them in 96, all the ones I've found are beat or don't meet my search criteria. All the nice ones I've found, the owners don;t want to part with.
