Had the wrong year in my earlier post! My Dakota is an '02 (not '04!)... Followed the responses I got earlier but nothing helped... Anyone else have an '02 with this problem?

Changed the battery in my Dakota. Now, neither the radio nor the clock works! Dealer said it didn't have any "codes" to begin with. Said he'd put a new one in for $400! Anybody got a fix for this? Thanks!

Check the I.O.D. fuse. It usually goes out when the battery is replaced. It could also be the horn and/or dome light fuse.

Check in the fuse panel in the Power Distribution Center next to the battery.

Oddly enough, nearly every time I start my truck, the radio and turn signals don't work. I wiggle the key, and they work!

And, I realize this is probably NOT the problem you're having.

Good luck, let us know.

Drive it like its paid for!

As my key turns slightly back it will kill the radio but the engine still runs and the PRND21 still is lit in cluster, fyi. 01 QCD
