Subject: 1999 Dodge Dakota IP: Logged
Message: My girlfriend has a '99 Dakota club cab with a 5.2 and the 65 series tire option. We took it to get it aligned earlier and they said that we needed both upper ball joints replaced and that the right front stabilizer link was broke. He also mentioned that there was a recall for the ball joints but didn't know what years it was for. After looking a little bit, I think this truck is exempt but has anyone had the same problems with this year? Also, what ball joints should I get to replace? Any help would be great. Thanks.

Message: I hope I saw this in time. Goto Carquest auto
parts and get the Moog brand of upper ball
joints. They have a lifetime warranty, bolt in
and have grease fittings unlike the factory
replacement units.
If there aren't any Carquest stores in your area,
you may be able to get some from...
