Message: Has anyone else with one of these had a problem with error code G31? It says the ignition is not turned on, but it is. Battery is 100%, all lights are off, alarm is disabled, etc.

Message: I've never heard of that specific code unless it is not compatible with your particular model. Does it read your model when you initially plug it in?
Other option is to try it on another Dakota. I'm assuming that you have not downloaded a program yet. More info would help.

Message: This is a code that is actually printed in the instruction booklet. It gets this code when I try to read my vehicle. Everything is updated and I'm currently trying to work things out with a tech guy from Superchips. This programmer worked in another dodge.

Message: Ok, I finally figured out that the original owner had the same problem. He returned it to the store, the store sold it to me 'accidentaly'. I talked to the salesman and he agreed to send me a brand new one. Phew, what a load off my mind.
