Can't find any info on back-up light switch adjustment. Lights work, but come on between Park and Reverse instead of when I'm in Reverse.

Yes, they only come on briefly when the gearshift is between park and reverse. Never on otherwise. 1998 V-6 2WD.

Now there's confusion.
They're not on when in Reverse, just during the transition from Park to Reverse, right?

I believe there is a sending unit on the trans. Don't remember any adjustment. Sending unit may be faulty...or worse (cringe) what trips it in the trans is out of adjustment.
