Message: Hi guys and gals. I have an '87 Dakota with the 3.9L engine. My transmission on it is a 3 speed automatic, model A-904. It's 2 wheel drive, and I was wondering if anyone knows a manual 5 speed transmission model that would directly bolt up to my engine. I'm not worried about the electronic stuff for now. I heard that the NV2500 model would work, is this true? Thanks in advance!
Message: It should work ... but you will have to find out what electronic connections it has. You might have to swap out a wireharness and ecm ... i dont know....
