Message: 2000 SLT, 130,000 miles. Until today the 4-wheel worked great.
Then while shifting from reverse to drive, I hit an ice patch and
started spinning. While spinning it sounded like the rear driver axle
was grinding. Once I got going, I noticed the truck was definitely
not in 4-wheel even though I was shifted to 4-wheel. What
happened, did it slip? Is it an easy fix? Let me know what the
diagnosis is..
