i havent looked into it much but would like to know if i would be able to fit the dash board and steering wheel of a 1998 Dakota into a 1994 dakota.

I don't think it's a direct replacement for the dash.
I had a 95 and it does not connect in the same as my 02. I'm not sure what difference there is between 99 and 02.
my old 95 had many screws vs my 02 using many clips.
