hello, I recently bought a 2001 dakota QC. It has the electronic 4wd by switch with the 4.7 v8 but I have a problem...
I bought the truck used from a private lot knowing that the 4wd did not work, says the dealer. The 4wd switch has no lights on at all and when turned to 4hi or 4lo nothing appens or engages. I checked all the fuses that I could that pertained to the 4x4 and they all looked good. I also did the on/off/on/off check and got no codes. And on the dash cluster there is no service 4wd light on either...
Any help on how to fix this and get my 4wd working? Is it a module or maybe just the switch?? THANKS!
