And there’s even talk of smaller Cummins V8 5 litre diesel joining into the engine line up. I happen to have seen a picture of that engine in the newest edition of Truck trend Magazine.
Hopefully, the Dakota might have the rumored 4.2L V6 diesel from Cummins.

A diesel dakota would be pretty sweet set-up.
The cherokee has 3.0L V6 diesel. Do you know the specs on the 4.2L V6 diesel?

Well, I happend to have been on a web called Diesal Power (used to subscribe to there magazine), anyway here are some link to show you the power chat of the testing done to the 256 cid (4.2L) Cummins.
Also check out the 5.6L Cummins V8.

I've read what STS posted but according the this information it say's 5.6L.

I agree with the 256 cid cummins V6, But acorrding to trucktrend the displacement for the Diesal in the Ram will be a 300 cid motor.
Rated at 270 HP.
