Why so cheap? Steering rack leaks. So does A/C. High mileage. No storage space.
So; $1500. gets you a very servicable truck with lots of miles left in it, that still looks good.
Always used Amsoil.
Newer than old; Michelins, brakes, radiator, A/C compressor, differential, extra tires and other stuff.

Kelly Blue Book Says:

Excellent
$2,625

Good
$2,255

Fair
$1,640

When the new style Ram came out a few years back, Dodge couldn't figure how to add a civilian model into the run for the government. The Fleet Manager made three orders which were not filled, so I took my $800.00 deposit back after a year of trying.
And the Dakota passed through 350,000 miles and kept on serving, as a courier delivery vehicle.

I'll paste a post I did elsewhere that'll partly explain the above. It's called; "Why Detroit SUCKS!"

Dan M,
An Egyptian friend taught me: "Show me your friends and I'll tell you who you are."
That is what is important about the lifelong associations of President Elect Obama.
I left this site some time ago because I elect not to associate with folks with your attitude.

Well I wouldn't say Detroit sucks (unless your talking about the city along with there thug mayor)

But GM,Ford,Chrysler are producing vehicles that even Europeans are buying. And you couldn't ask for a better product. Chrysler has done a great job in cutting coast and saving money but its still not enough to get the company in the black.

I think Chrysler deserves a chance for gov't loan as they have don before and paid it all back plus the intrest. As for Ford and GM. Let them file chapter 11. They have produced wastfull products and knowing all along it wasn't going to apeal to the market.

No, I don't mean to baised just because I drive a Mopar product. But what took GM and Ford so long to start thinking smart about future cars and trucks that people would want to buy.

I would buy serveral GM and Ford products it I could, I like the Impala,Serria, and the CTS.

Along with the Mustang and F-150 from Ford.

Check this out. This was a Senate Committee
hearing of the American private jet flying CE0's.
