Subject: 2001 Dakota Heater Fan IP: Logged
Message: My heater fan quit working on the low speeds; it only works on high. I replaced the fuse, but that was not the cause...my windshield washer motor quit also. Is there a relay involved?

Message: for the fan, sounds like your resistor pack is bad. it's inside the cab on the passengers side below the glovebox. windshield washer motor could be bad. have you checked the fuse for it? these are not related.

Message: Daddio,
Thank you for your input regarding my heater fan problem. Replaced the resistor pack for $15 and now have a fully operational heater for the Minnesota winter...my father-in-law had the same problem twice with his Stratus; $120 each time from the Dealership!
