I have a 98 dakota 4x4 with an intermittant wiper delay problem. Some of the time it works fine, other times it has no delay at all, or works for 3 or 4 cycles then acts like no delay "always on".
Anybody had similar probem? Recommended fixes?

Well your wipers are working so it's not the motor, it has to be the switch. but get a second opinoin just in case.

Your wipper motor should have a pulse module inside of it. Remove the cover from the wiper motor and see if the weather pack conector plugs into a circuit board. If it does then you can just replace the circuit board(pulse module). Valeo makes them for everone DC, Ford, GM.... Dealer cost on them is around $26.00 so try not to let them mark it up to $52.00. P.S. They will usualy work on high ok but intermint will not wor or all other setting other then high act up.
