 Subject: Headlights off & on

03 Dakota - This morning my headlights and dashlights started to go off & on. They come back on instantly. It happens at different intervals, sometimes a couple of times a minute & sometimes two or three times in a few seconds. I can hear a tripping sound as if a relay is activating. If i turn on the dome light it also does the same when the lights are on. I'm thinking headlight switch but would appreciate any input on this problem before replacing it.
