Subject: ABS flashing IP: Logged
Message: Hi everybody,
I was wondering if anybody might be able to help me out with a problem I have with my 2002 Dakota R/T. I just recently moved and all of my tools are in storage so I took my truck into a shop to have my header bolts tighten down. Long story short the Mech. somehow fried the ignition circuits in my PCM. I purchased a new PCM and sent it off to B&G to have the M-1 reflashed onto it. When I installed the PCM back into the truck my ABS light now comes on and flashes it is also makes the dinging tone, but the brake lights do not come. I talked with Dave at B&G and he said the reflashing should not affect the ABS light coming on. I took my truck to a "Just Brakes" and they couldn't figure out the problem either. They tested the rear ABS sensor on the rear axle and it was fine. My speedometer works fine also. I'm a little lost as to where to start any suggestions??
Thanks in advance for your help.

Message: Well if it was all working properly before the flash, then it could be one of the following:
1. The flash
2. You unplugged the PCM without disconnecting the battery first.
