 Subject: rpms drop then raise righbefore shifting

Had a surging problem and replaced the tps but I also had a problem with the rpms dropping then raising right before the shift. Is it possible that the surging problem messed up the solenoids in the tranny? Or is there something else I should look at?

Sorry let me clarify that. The rpms drop and raise THEN drop again for the shift. Mostly when Im @ cruise speed.
