Message: it could be the sender or the pump itself. I had the guage stop working in my old 95 twice. the first time, it was the sender. the 2nd time, the pump itself.

Message: My 97 has that problem. But mine jumps to the bottom and then
goes eventually goes to where the gas really is. Then it goes and
drops to the bottom again. Haha. It makes me crazy!!! It freaking
"Ding... Ding... Dings!" Every 30 seconds sometimes.
But whatever, I have learned to cope with the little things, haha. All
part of owning a daily driver more than 10 years old I guess.

Message: The major problem with my gauge is that it never resets itself. You put about 5 gallons in the tank and it might just go from empty to half a tank.

Message: I think I've figured mine out. Some how its recalerbated itself and now 1/4 of a tank means empty and 1/2 tank means one forth.
