ok i just got a 92 dakota 4x4 le and my grandfather has a 92 dakota 4x4 sport what is the difernce in them his is all stock like mine but his sits alot taller then mine mine looks like it is a 2x4 thanks for the help Tracey

There is no difference, the LE and Sport packages were just trim/appearance packages. Mechanically, they are the same.
As for the differences in height, I would suspect your torsion bars are more stressed than his.

How about tires, Lift kit or body lift. Has your grandfather owned his since new? If not someone might have done something to raise it a bit. Weak springs on yours would reduce the height. The 92s and 93s have the good exhaust manifolds. With that said you have about 5 more horse, Something to be thankfull for.
