Message: i have 99 dak with r/t rims i have the bfgoorich comp ta z rated 245/45 on the front. i need new back tires. anyone help me out with some sizes or style would be great

Message: ummm...just wondering why you dont use the comp TA's on the rear also? your rims are the same size all around, and its best to have the same tread pattern on all 4 corners.

Message: A 245/45/17 is much to small IMO. The factory uses a 255/55/17 which is both wider and taller and I think it's also to small (at least in the width. Most people upgrade to the 275/45/17 Nitto's which are wider but about the same heigth as stock. BfGoodrigh used to make a Comp TA HR4 in 305/45/17 that was about the largest performance tire that will fit on the R/T rims and only on the back from what I understand, although I don't know if anybody has actually tried it.
